L4MS, a partner network of the Association, has already funded 6 automation experiments for the automation of intra-factory logistics. Below, find more information about the success stories, including “OHTider” system developed in Lithuania.
Over the last year, 6 international teams of manufacturers, tech providers, and competence centers finalized their experiments: each team tested how factory logistics can benefit from IoT technology and turn traditional internal logistics responsive and connected. Here are the teams and their stories:
Team HAMLET – Mobile robots to increase efficiency by facilitating mould change in footwear factory
Team SMARTIST – Even unique workflows can be supported by automated logistics
Team KLAPPER – The collaboration of robots and workers to improve factory logistics
Team KULINAARIA – Robots at Estonia’s largest ready meal producer to cut labour cost by 20% and boost in-factory logistics efficiency by 10%
